ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Scripture is full of stories of God working through individual women and men. Esther, Elijah, Peter, and Paul show us that when people follow God, big things happen. Every Artizo intern represents this kind of possibility.
INTERNS IN 10 YEARS
That is 66 new leaders in the church teaching the gospel! We have grads across the country serving in a variety of denominations, cities, and ministries. These leaders are making a difference and an impact right now!
"Artizo has helped me see that doing ministry in Jesus’ name and for Jesus’ sake means doing ministry with others and training them to do ministry with you."
“It has impacted the way I understand the ministry of Jesus. He equipped others to share in his ministry to people. Artizo has helped me see that doing ministry in Jesus’ name and for Jesus’ sake means doing ministry with others and training them to do ministry with you. Being a pastor is not just about providing church services, or being the one who preaches, or the one who teaches, or who gives pastoral care and does administration. Being a pastor includes these things but it’s also about training and equipping. That’s Artizo’s whole emphasis and it has really helped me see how important being a trainer and equipper is. This also is a key part of being a pastor. I think devoting significant resources and time into training people will be an important part of any ministry I do in the future.”
A PROGRAM GROWING IN CAPACITY
Artizo has grown in its capacity every year for the past decade. It has grown in its ability to attract and train interns (2016 was our biggest year yet with 17 interns), it has grown in its diversity of gender, race, and nationality, and it has widened its reach into multiple denominations.
85% of Artizo interns pursue a call into ministry.
The Artizo program consistently develops active ministers of the gospel. Our grads are sharing the gospel as preachers, youth pastors, children’s ministers, worship pastors, and church planters. Artizo grads are involved in all aspects of the local church.
"I am convinced that the training that interns get in Artizo is more necessary now than ever."
“I have had many chances to learn to teach God’s Word. Preaching at the 7:30 am service here at St John’s Vancouver, and at the Church of the Good Shepherd, co-leading a Women@10 Bible Study, and being a part of a Christmas mission with St. John’s Richmond are just a few of the things I have been able to participate in. It has been invaluable to have encouragement, but also to have the freedom to fail, and to have someone evaluate me, exhort me, and pray with and for me, so I can learn from my mistakes and successes and grow. I am convinced that the training that interns get in Artizo is more necessary now than ever. God’s Word has the power to change lives, as it points us to Jesus, who is The Way, The Truth, and The Life…and the ONLY Way to The Father. How our city…our country… our world needs to hear this!

55% of each dollar went towards supporting our training staff in 2016. Our Trainers are the fundamental core of Artizo and every dollar of salary is an investment in the interns.
