Program overview

The Artizo Program

The Artizo Institute offers two separate apprenticeship programs – Artizo I and Artizo II. In addition to these programs, we offer extensive professional development resources for trainers.

Both programs focus on practical training through immersion in gospel ministry, alongside gospel ministers who act as mentors and coaches. Participants also complete a wide range of activities outside of immersion, including guided readings, training exercises, and teaching sessions. Positive, lively, and regular interaction between trainer and apprentice enhances the Artizo experience.

Artizo does not follow a standard institutional curriculum; rather, the program is molded to fit the needs and skills of each person. Artizo uses a fully developed and comprehensive curriculum that allows for flexibility in course content. The Director of Training and church staff will assist you in building a program that’s right for you.

Participants will work towards the eight training goals of gospel ministry as they immerse themselves in a variety of gospel activities. These goals will be reviewed and discussed throughout the program, in the context of the ministries in which the trainees are involved.

“Congregations thrive when clergy are equipped to preach the Scripture and provide leadership that models the love, integrity, humility, wisdom, and courage of God.”
