Matt hails originally from Olympia, Washington. However, since 2007, Canada has become his cherished home. Matt completed his Master’s in Theology at Regent College. He finds great joy in hearing of the work of God in others’ lives. Happily married to Val and father to Lydia (8) and Mahri (5), Matt is an outdoor enthusiast who loves a summer swim and relishes good competition. “I love that HSPC is a place where people are learning to pay attention – to God, to each other, and to the world around us. This kind of attentiveness shapes the formation we long for – not only through teaching, but through friendship, prayer, and a shared life that reflects the way of Jesus.
