For four years Stuart was part of the First Baptist Pastoral Team, shepherding Connection Groups and Internationals, and serving as an Area Pastor. In May 2021, Stuart moved on from this paid work. While continuing to serve as a lay FBC area pastor, Stuart has begun a M. Arch at UBC.
